Our Story

Books and Beans was born from a simple observation: the best moments happen when you slow down, open a book, and let the world pause for a while. We opened our doors in downtown Brookings with one mission — to create a space that honors both the written word and the craft of coffee.

Every book on our shelves is chosen with care. Every drink is pulled with intention. And every corner of our space is designed to make you feel at home, whether you're a lifelong reader or just looking for a quiet place to think.
